Easily my #2 after Reeve’s; turns out that if you don’t fuck with it too much, the classic Superman design still works perfectly fine, and is received as such. Closest I have to a complaint is that the loops in the belt look to be different material than the trunks, but if you fixed that, gave him the Hoechlin suit’s S, and the yellow belt, it’d be a perfect modern live-action Superman design with zero qualifications. It’s genuinely embarrassing how much better this is than the movies have been, especially compared to Returns with such relatively minimal differences. God willing folks up the ladder are taking notes on how much people are loving this.
